The 26th Meeting of the EAU Section of Urological Research

October 10–12 | Porto, Portugal

SBUR is delighted to be the scientific partner alongside the European Association of Urology this year following a long tradition of collaboration! This year, SBUR members can register in the category as EAU members to attend the meeting.

Outstanding international experts will deliver lectures on exciting latest results from the investigation of urological diseases. In this meeting, we will tackle important urological research topics like translational neurourology, microenvironment and metabolism. An important issue this year is epigenetic reprogramming and epidrugs: from basics to clinical trials as well as epitranscriptomics as another class of gene expression regulators. Molecular subtypes and therapeutics including immunooncology in urological tumors as well as data protection, regulation & ethics will be addressed. For the second time, a point-counterpoint session is also scheduled to tackle topics of debate from both clinical and research points of view. As usual, oral presentations by young investigators on selected abstracts and extensive poster sessions over coffee are planned to maximize interaction, dissemination, and especially for young investigators and urologists, provide opportunities to meet potential future mentors.

The meeting will be held in the Portuguese Oncology Institute of Porto (IPO Porto), the largest specialised Portuguese cancer institution with a triple role: (1) patient care, (2) research, and (3) education in Oncology, accredited by OECI (the European Organization of Cancer Institutes) as a Comprehensive Cancer Center.
